Production Operative - Sewing Machine Operator

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Sewing Machine Operator to join our team. This role is key to ensuring garments are repaired efficiently and to a high standard, supporting the smooth running of our production operations.

What you’ll be doing

• Repairing garments in line with quality standards and production targets
• Replacing zips, press studs and buckles
• Repairing seams, tears, and general wear and damage
• Patching holes and reinforcing garments where required
• Shortening garment arms and legs where necessary
• Managing stock levels of sewing materials and equipment
• Supporting with general ad hoc tasks as required

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience operating sewing machines (essential)
• Experience working in a production or warehouse environment (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective time management and ability to prioritise workload
